consider this: in an effort to categorise, summarise and optimise everything, we've perhaps forgotten what made the things good in the first place
idea: add next / previous buttons to blog entries (could take a million years)
idea 2.0: don't add next / previous buttons to every entry - add them to successive, related entries, if anything
mixing in those 'punchy, upbeat' posts with a mix of isolated internal thoughts is proving to be challenging, but it's also the ticket to an honest website
really just wanna simplify & prune everything

here's the big question: why is it often necessary to deal with company tech support publicly through social media like twitter, instead of just directly through their website, telephone or emails?
don't speak till all your thoughts are neatly lined up on a shelf
I've been transferring the website to a new 'multi author format.' It opens the door for anybody under any alias to publish content to the website, so it's really a form of future proofing, even if only I use it. It means every post is clearly attributed.
The original idea for this was to change the homepage to feature new posts, but I'd rather keep it minimal.
Something I didn't anticipate was just how limiting Netlify's free plan is regarding deploys, but you have to draw the line somewhere I suppose. So every update to the website uses a certain amount of credits, meaning I should really be more strategic about when I'm pushing out updates. Previously, I had planned to stick to just Saturdays, so I'll have to keep that in mind to avoid hitting the usage limit.
time's the biggest filter
all these technical advancements and we're still signing in only to be thrown back to the home page
how about slow close everything
'a collection of brain dumps related to web development'
it seems like there is so much fleeting information online. it almost feels like a sin to contribute to it
update
hi
i've been working on a few different projects (at the same time regrettably)
1 being the numberless charts
where i write about great music
2 being take me away
which is a random link aggregation website, like boredbutton.com
both are basic webpages with basic interfaces, but that's a good thing otherwise i'd be spending all my time tweaking their looks
so they both have me indexing & sharing things i'm interested in; unique personal websites & music
one of the key things to remember about this whole thing is that you can retroactively do anything
